Welcome to the AWS Community Day Australia !

AWS Community Day Australia is a one-day, user-run single-day AWS technical conference that is planned, organized, and delivered by the AWS user group community leaders (much like a “Meetup of Meetups”). The goal of the Community Day is to facilitate the exchange of information amongst the AWS user community. The presentations are all given by speakers who are fellow AWS users sharing knowledge with their peers.

The terms of this Code of Conduct are non-negotiable and behaviour that runs counter to it will not be tolerated. By attending this event, you agree to respect and follow these rules.

We expect the following from all participants (including AWS employees, organisers, attendees, vendors, sponsors, speakers, volunteers, and guests):

  • You will behave in a way as to create a safe and supportive environment for all event participants.
  • You will not engage in disruptive speech or behaviour or otherwise interfere with the event or other individuals' participation in the event.
  • You will not engage in any form of harassing, offensive, discriminatory, or threatening speech or behaviour, including (but not limited to) relating to race, gender, gender identity and expression, national origin, religion, disability, marital status, age, sexual orientation, military or veteran status, or other protected category.
  • You will comply with the instructions of event and venue staff.
  • You will comply with all applicable laws.

If a participant engages in inappropriate behaviour, the organisers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the event. If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please report it to an organiser immediately.

In short, let's be excellent to each other!

This code of conduct was adapted from the AWS Community Code of Conduct.
